What process follows the submission of the initiative?

Once the initiative has been received by Ekinbide, its admission or non-admission for processing is determined, informing the person or entity interested for their consideration. If it is accepted for processing, the corresponding investigation file is started and, in a maximum period of two months from when it is registered at Ekinbide, the requesting person or entity is informed of the result.

The data provided are subject to as many guarantees as are provided for in Organic Law 15/1999 on the Protection of Personal Data and any concordant regulations. The requesting person or entity may exercise the rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition, as well as any others that legally may assist them with the Department for Coordinating Security.
